HOW TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS

FOR BLAZERS & JACKETS

CHEST MEASURE (A)

Measure directly under your armholes, ensuring that
the tape measure is horizontal and crosses over the shoulder blades at the
fullest part of your chest. Take care not to place your fingers underneath the
tape, as this measurement needs to be taken without any ease.

JACKET WAIST MEASURE (B)

Measure over the shirt at the fullest part of your
waist, ensuring there is no ease in the tape measure.

SEAT/HIP MEASURE (C)

Measure
with some ease at the fullest part of the seat, ensuring that any hip pockets
are empty.

CENTER BACK LENGTH MEASURE (D)

Measure from the center back seam, just below the
melton collar, down to the desired length.

SLEEVES LENGTH MEASURE (E)

Measure
from the sleeve head seam at the shoulder seam down to the desired length,
following the grain line and approximately 4cm from the buttoned edge.

FOR TROUSERS

TROUSERS WAIST MEASURE (F)

The trousers should be unfastened for this
measurement. Measure over the shirt at the smallest part of the waist, ensuring
that there is no ease in the measurement.

INSEAM LENGTH MEASURE (G)

For this measurement you can use your best-fitting
trousers as a reference. To accurately measure the inner seam, lay the trousers
flat on a table and measure from the crotch to the desired length at the
hem.

TROUSERS BOTTOM WIDTH MEASURE (H)

To determine the bottom width of your
trousers, use your best-fitting pair as a guide. Lay them flat and measure
across the bottom hem of one leg from side to side for an accurate width.
